  • Isn't Matt's Place just a building?
Matt's place began as plans for a building that would be available for an afterschool program.  However, we had the space, so began the afterschool program and are looking forward to expanding in the future.  See Matt's Place Building and About Us for more information.

  • Is Matt's Place funded by Chesapeake Church?
No.  Matt's Place is funded by events put on by the Matt's Place team as well as designated giving from the community.


  • Can you participate in Matt's Place After School even if you aren't a member of Chesapeake Church?
Yes!  Matt's Place is open for any youth in grades 7-12.
 

  • Is Matt's Place related to the youth ministry at Chesapeake Church?
Matt's Place is one aspect of our youth ministry.  For more information on Peake Youth please visit the web-site.


  • How much does the after school program cost?
There is no cost for Matt's Place After School.

 
  • When are you open?
We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 until 5:30.


  • What if I can't come both days?
That's alright!  Attend both days, one day, just one class, or when sports/rehearsal etc. is over for the season.  Just make sure you fill out a registration form.


  • Do you provide transportation?
Transportation is provided from HHS, NMS, NHS, PPMS, and WHMS.  Please click here for more information on transportation to Matt's Place.


  • Do you provide snacks?
All snacks and drinks are available at a cost of $.25 each.

You can register now. Just fax (410-257-0296) or bring in the forms to Matt's Place.
